Yesterday, taking a car to the Denver International Airport (no buffalo or bison today -- if they still even have them), I spoke with a man dealing with BPH, he takes medication for it and was telling me more about his experiences with it.
He went on to mention that he had heard of a surgery in which a laser of some sort could be inserted into the penis and, in the case of BPH (B stands for "benign" so people with prostate cancer issues might have to pursue a different angle), a laser "blows up" the prostate (or at least reduces it in size). The procedure is to reduce the constriction that the enlarged prostate is impressing upon the urethra and causing incontience issue for the (for the most part) older man.
